I looked for the best high yield, tax-exempt money market accounts and the best tax-free ETFs. I selected statewide funds and ETFs not state specific ones so if you are in California or NY you may want to look for alternatives.
The tax efficiency of all of these investment options varies. Some have very small amounts of taxable income but most are pretty tax free.
