I compare Sofi Invest to M1 Finance to see which auto invest robo advisor product works best.
Both can do auto investing with stocks and ETFs. Sofi can do limit order while M1 Finance cannot.
M1 has a very nice modern interface. Sofi has nice capabilities and supports limit orders which is nice but the layout does seem cluttered and requires lots of excess scrolling.
There is also lots of ads or promotion blocks that get in the way.
There are now four brokers that allow automatic, recurring investing in ETFs (3 of them also do stocks):
- etrade
- m1finance
- robinhood
- sofi invest
There may be other brokerages that offer this but they are not free.
